🧭 Preparation

PIHPgm® frames are placed inside the hive body, usually along the side, to adjust the volume occupied by the colony.

The RBC® insulation cushion is positioned above the scarf and under the hive roof to limit heat loss and ensure good moisture management.

⚠️ The cushion is an indispensable element: Apifoam is not a thermal insulator and does not allow the expected performance to be achieved.
